Bilac apanhou um pedaço de papel e escreveu:
“Vende-se encantadora propriedade, onde cantam os pássaros ao amanhecer no extenso arvoredo. Cortada por cristalinas e marejantes águas de um ribeirão. A casa, banhada pelo sol nascente, oferece a sombra tranquila das tardes, em sua varanda.”
Meses depois, o poeta reencontrou o amigo e perguntou-lhe se havia conseguido vender a propriedade.
– Nem pensei mais nisso, Sr. Bilac! Quando li o anúncio que o senhor escreveu, percebi a maravilha que eu tinha nas mãos.

Valorize pequenas e grandes coisas
Já perdeu seu celular por alguns instantes? Quem nunca? Bate um certo desespero até o encontrarmos, quando respiramos aliviados. Mas pergunto: você dá o mesmo peso (positivo) ao encontrar seu celular todos os dias?
Numa vida cotidiana estressante e caótica, é comum darmos mais valor aos aspectos negativos e que nos desencorajam. Aquilo que outrora já nos deu alegria (comprar um celular novo, ganhar uma roupa nova, conseguir aquele sonhado emprego…) vai perdendo sua vitalidade e, para que possamos voltar a estampar um sorriso, é preciso que algo novo aconteça (comprar, ganhar, conseguir…). E como esse aspecto positivo acontece em menor quantidade que os problemas e preocupações, nos transformamos, cada dia mais, em pessoas ranzinzas, tristes e desmotivadas.
Feche os olhos neste momento e reflita: o que está a sua volta? Em que lugar está? Com quem está? Relembre como foi o dia em que você conquistou cada um desses objetos, pessoas ou posições em que está. Tente resgatar os sentimentos de felicidade, de satisfação, de orgulho… Quais sentimentos estavam envolvidos nesses momentos?
Abra novamente os olhos e responda para si: nesse instante, o “valor” dessas coisas/pessoas à sua volta aumentou um pouquinho? A percepção de felicidade momentânea melhorou? Deu uma vontadezinha de “quero mais” e, com isso, motivação para seguir em frente?
Se pelo menos uma dessas respostas foi SIM, você acaba de ganhar uma ferramenta para melhorar sua autoestima. Repita esse exercício todos os dias em lugares, momentos e com pessoas diferentes.
Valorizar o que já temos é o primeiro passo para saber o que mais queremos ter.
