Como foi abordado no post passado, a emissão de Nota Fiscal Eletrônica (NF-e) passa a ser obrigatória para os setores empresariais apresentados no Protocolo ICMS 42, de 3 de julho de 2009 em datas estipuladas para esse ano de 2010.

Algumas vezes percebemos uma confusão quanto aos termos Nota Fiscal Eletrônica (NF-e) e Nota Fiscal Paulista (NFp). É preciso estar atento!

A Nota Fiscal Eletrônica é um documento digital emitido e armazenado eletronicamente que substitui a Nota Fiscal de ICMS em papel modelos 1 e 1-A. Com ele documenta-se uma operação de circulação de mercadorias ocorrida entre as partes, cuja validade jurídica é garantida pela assinatura digital do emitente e validado pela Secretaria da Fazenda, antes da ocorrência da circulação da mercadoria.
Já a Nota Fiscal Paulista é válida somente para o Estado de São Paulo, e faz parte de um programa de incentivo aos cidadãos para que, ao adquirirem uma mercadoria, exijam do estabelecimento comercial o documento fiscal.
Ao informarem o CPF ou CNPJ os consumidores estarão recebendo um crédito equivalente a parte dos impostos recolhidos, podendo escolher a forma como irão receber tais créditos, se por descontos no IPVA, por crédito em conta corrente ou cartão de crédito, entre outros.
