Fundo Ecos apoiará microprojetos liderados por mulheres indígenas
Serão apoiados 20 microprojetos, no valor de até R$ 6 mil cada um. Inscrições foram prorrogadas até 30 de novembro
O Fundo Ecos lançou seu 43º edital para o apoio a microprojetos liderados por mulheres indígenas e suas famílias que promovam a gestão ambiental e territorial nas Terras Indígenas do Maranhão, leste do Pará (Alto Rio Guamá) e norte do Tocantins (Apinajé e Kraolândia).
O edital destaca o protagonismo feminino, reconhecendo a importância das mulheres indígenas na conservação da biodiversidade e no fortalecimento das comunidades. Serão apoiados 20 microprojetos, no valor de até R$ 6 mil cada um.
A iniciativa faz parte do projeto “Aliança dos Povos Indígenas pelas Florestas da Amazônia Oriental”, realizado em parceria entre o Centro de Trabalho Indigenista (CTI), o ISPN e as organizações indígenas Associação Wyty Cate das Comunidades Timbira do Maranhão e Tocantins, Coordenação das Organizações e Articulações Indígenas dos Povos do Maranhão (Coapima) e Articulação das Mulheres Indígenas do Maranhão (Amima).
O projeto conta com o apoio financeiro da Agência dos Estados Unidos para o Desenvolvimento Internacional (USAID). Inscrições foram prorrogadas até 30 de novembro.
